The illustrious names in L’Oréal Professionnel’s i-D Artist Colourist team for 2017 have been formally announced, propelling the initiative into its ninth dynamic year and promising a big 24 months for the talented members.
The two year development program was created to discover and foster emerging talent, and it has now become an intrinsic part of the brand’s acclaimed education platform. Team members receive support and training from L’Oréal Professionnel’s Education Team and Ambassadors, and take place in colour-focused creative and conceptual workshops.
Mentors include 2017 AHFA Australian Hairdresser of the Year Damien Rinaldo, 2017 AHFA Colourist of the Year Dannii Solier and Peter Thomson. Team members will be granted backstage experiences at consumer fashion and industry events, and will be involved in the creative direction and session styling for Colour Trophy 2018.
“It’s a real honour to be involved with this incredible colour-focused development program,” said team member Amanda Lunedei from Xiang Hair. “The opportunity to be mentored by leading Artists and to then share this knowledge with my team excites me the most! I’m also looking forward to an amazing backstage, session styling experience with the wider creative team for the Colour Trophy 2018 competition.”
