Alongside the many Hair Expo features you know and love returning – the education classes, the stands, the events and more – there’ll be a new feature coming to Hair Expo 2018 in Melbourne. Welcome the all-new Styling Stage, sponsored by Dyson, which will showcase a line-up of free presentations from massive names in the hairdressing world over the long weekend.

Starting on the Saturday the line-up will feature stylists such as Dario Cotroneo, Lizzie Liros, Victoria Degioia and Paula Hibbard covering a wealth of styling-specific topics. You can learn about creating effortless waves, new modern grunge hair trends, enhancing hair looks with adornments and more as the presenters each offer their insights, experience and varied aesthetics.

The Sunday agenda will include Peter Thomsen from Chelsea Haircutters, Mary Alamine from Royals Hair and 2018 Hair Expo Australian Hairdresser of the Year finalist Dee Parker Attwood, each demonstrating the latest styling trends. Long hair styling expert Lorna Evans will also take to the stage for a Met Gala inspired showcase, sharing her favourite looks from this year’s Avant Garde Met Gala event and creating looks inspired by the opulent theme. From 11:30am to 12:30pm visitors can also catch the iconic Tabatha Coffey on the Styling Stage for a meet and greet opportunity.

On the final day, the stage will host heavy-hitting guests like Sam James, the Rokk Ebony salon team and Andrea De Deugd, who will bring her 2018 Hair Expo Victorian Hairdresser of the Year finalist collection to life.

This is just a snap shot of what’s to come on the free Styling Stage, one of many drawcards to entice you through the Expo doors and into the incomparable maze that is the Hair Expo floor.
