Kevin Murphy Celebrates 15 Years as Hair Director of Melbourne Fashion Week

Melbourne Fashion Week (MFW) will be back from August 31 to September 7 and KEVIN.MURPHY will be right there with it, as always. The iconic Aussie brand is celebrating 15 years as Hair Partners of the event, with Kevin Murphy once again taking up the Hair Director role.

The hair looks created by Kevin and his team will telegraph the trends of Spring and Summer, utilising local and global hairdressing talents to create looks that range from creative to commercial. The team will create looks for a myriad of runway shows and pop-up events around the city, each which showcase Melbourne as the fashion capital of Australia, and one of the fashion capitals of the world. Top-tier designers include alice McCALL, Scanlan Theodore, macgraw and Dion Lee.

Pia Miller has been announced as the ambassador for the event, with her hair also to be styled by Kevin and his team, while the team also take part in exhibitions, shows, walking tour experiences and more in a styling capacity.
