Congratulations to these talented eight hairdressers, who have been named as finalists in the prestigious L’Oréal Professionnel Style & Colour Trophy for 2022, which saw hundreds of entrants submit an inspiring editorial image under the theme ‘French Edito’.
The entry brief was to create the perfect French editorial magazine cover using French Balayage or French Glossing techniques, and in the geographical and luxe vibe of the L’Oréal Professionnel brand. Now, eight impressive stylists will compete to win the national title, a role that will see the winner compete on the international stage as Australia’s representative in the global competition. In 2021, Australia’s own Massimo Tirimacco of Zohair Salon in South Australia won the international title, and the 2019 title was awarded to Wendy Gunn from Ink for Hair in Brisbane, so the winner will be competing for Australia’s third consecutive title in this space.
The competition has also partnered with longstanding collaborator marie claire to present the People’s Choice Award, for which five stylists from different regions are in the running for the fan vote.
The results will be finalised at a grand finale on August 8, where the winner will be announced at a live event in Melbourne, complemented by various state-wide watch party events.
Congratulations to these finalists, who are in the running for the win.
