Timely reinforced their ever-present commitment to education by hosting the Beauty, Besties & Bubbles on August 23. Held on a sunny day in Sydney at L’Aqua, Darling Harbour, the event treated beauty professionals and media to essential beauty education, food and bubbles, as the name would suggest, and a spectacular view alongside it all. As part of the ticket, attendees could bring their ‘bestie’ for free.
Starting with a welcome and introduction, the event made way for two education sessions led by industry experts – the Skin Needling Session with Lia Trebilcock of Skin Education International and Lymphatic Facial Sculpting Session with Bee Czarnota, founder of The BEETOX Method. Lunch in the middle, a champagne reception to conclude, goodie bags, snacks, tea and coffee throughout and photo opportunities against an impressive floral photo wall added to the festivities.
The first session took from Lia’s experience with of Skin Education International, which equips dermal and beauty therapists, beauty therapists, cosmetic nurses and naturopaths with education to effectively treat various skin conditions. Lia shared her over 20 years of experience in holistic and advanced skin therapy, where she has educated over 4600 therapists globally, to demonstrate the practical application of professional skin needling, showcasing this skill with a model live on stage. The comprehensive workshop helped attendees across the beauty spectrum elevate their skills in this essential skin rejuvenation technique.
Bee led a visual practical training in the art of the lymphatic system and its crucial role in skin health and rejuvenation, demonstrating beauty therapy techniques, such as “strumming”, with a model live on stage and even showcasing the effects of the treatment as evident in balloon props. She educated on advanced sculpting techniques that stimulate lymphatic flow, improve circulation and detoxify the skin, drawing on her vast experience as an esteemed holistic health practitioner. Bee offers unique approach to lymphatic drainage, advanced facial sculpting techniques and holistic wellness practices, which combine to detoxify the body, enhance skin health and promote overall vitality, which she imparted to the guests.
“It’s so important when we talk about lymphatic drainage in comparison to sculptural lifting, that we can put them together and create an amazing result within the skin, but we always must drain that lymphatic fluid before we can start to bring in that red blood flow, oxygenation and nourishment to the skin,” Bee shared.
In an intimate setting, the event was hosted by Timely’s Tamara Reid who facilitated questions from the audience, with the topics ranging from technical service questions to business insights around client care, marketing and beyond.
