It’s as good a time as any to remind your clients of the power of the hairdressing community, and the Australian Hairdressing Council (AHC) are celebrating just that with Love Your Hairdresser Week – an annual testament to the power of the salon industry, taking place next week from November 11 to 17.
“Love Your Hairdresser Week is all about celebrating you,” the AHC shared. “Launched four years ago, this campaign shows gratitude to our beloved hairdressers and barbers, highlighting the special relationships between hair professionals, their teams, and loyal customers.”
The organisation has created social media assets and a content guide with tips on how to get involved and spread the message, which hairdressers and AHC members can use. The organisation encourages hairdressers to use the hashtags #loveyourhairdresserweek, #loveyourhairdresser, #theahc, and #sharethelove, while also tagging @AusHairdressingCouncil on Facebook and @aushaircouncil on Instagram.
“Hairdressers and barbers do more than just cut and colour hair, they nurture a sense of personal wellbeing and community. A trip to the salon becomes a much-loved respite for many people that helps to promote self-esteem and confidence,” the organisation shared. “Love Your Hairdresser Week is a great chance for you to spotlight the bonds you have with your clients, your teams, and your fellow hairdressers and barbers in our wonderful community.”
