The 2025 International Hairdressing Awards have extended the timeline for this year’s awards, meaning you now have until January 31 to enter the esteemed competition. This news gives talented hairdressers globally more time to submit their entries and ensure they maximise this important awards opportunity.
With this new entry date, finalists will be live streamed on March 2 before a world tour in March and April that visits and announces the winners around the globe. An awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Manchester, UK, during the HairCon show.
Categories range from Best International Men’s Collection, Best International Women’s Collection and Best International Avant-Garde Collection, which are open to every hairdresser, as well pre-nominated categories of International Hairdresser of the Year, International Artistic Team of the Year and International Film & TV Hairdresser of the Year.
Last year, Australia’s own Dee Parker-Attwood of Wieselmann Salon, Jude McEwen of TONI&GUY Perth and Lyndal Salmon of BIBA Salon were pre-nominated for International Hairdresser of the Year for 2025. Chinney Yeap of Salute Hair & Day Spa and Danny Pato of D&M Hair Design were pre-nominated from New Zealand in the category and the Australian F.A.M.E. Team and Tsiknaris Hair were pre-nominated for International Artistic Team of the Year. In the 2024 awards, Australia’s Sharon Blain was deservedly honoured with the title of International Hair Legend.
The awards platform is powered by founder and director Mikel Luzea from Spain, with support from HairCon as main sponsor, Estetica Magazine as global media partner and Salón Look Madrid, Artero and The Hair MBA also supporting the event.
Good luck to our national entrants!
