This course focuses on you as an individual, reconnecting you to yourself as a human first and then looking at how we can best look after our clients through the most connected and considered consultations. You will learn how to look after all aspects of your health and well-being, enhance your problem-solving skills, conduct thorough consultations, boost client retention and increase profitability, ultimately transforming you into a more fulfilled and thriving hairdresser.
The first half of the day focuses on ‘The Human Hairdresser’. First and foremost, we are humans. As hairdressers we need to be able to shift our focus to look after ourselves before we can wholeheartedly service others. This workshop is dedicated to the mindful practices needed to be a successful hairdresser.
The second half of the day focuses on ‘The Intuitive Consultation’. The consultation is the heart of any service and directly correlates to client satisfaction and overall profit. In this session you will learn straightforward steps to ensure you are connecting to the hair and the human in your chair. We’ll delve into the essential aspects and non-negotiables of styling, cutting and colour consults, leaving you empowered to fulfil every client’s desire no matter what the request.

Mr.D – Adrian, Director and owner of Delilah Salon Melbourne, is the industries dry cutting and curl specialist who teaches dry cutting with intention. He empowers hairdressers to remember that cutting hair is fun, an art form and how to bring their clients forward, celebrate them for who they are to help them discover themselves. Intentional Tizz
A look and learn discovery with Mr.D showcasing dry cutting curly hair live models. Explore the skills required when cutting wavy, frizz, beachy, movement and shape with diversity and creation.
Mr.D will demonstrate that all haircuts must have a foundation and with texture, there’s also a play element and it’s important to learn how to achieve both.
