In honour of the late Dennis Langford
In early 2022 we lost a master in hairdressing education, Dennis Langford. The news of Dennis passing was not only a shock it was devastating to those who knew him.
Dario was very fortunate/grateful to be mentored by Dennis in the mid-1990s. Dario says, “Dennis was the GOAT in Australian Hairdressing Education. He introduced a new level of professionalism to the Hairdressing industry”. To honour Dennis, Dario will be presenting the “Mr Professional” tour nationally, which will take place early 2023.
Dario Cotroneo is a true master of consultation. His education takes him all over the country to work with the best hairdressers and salon teams, improve their cutting and styling skills as well as client/guest relationships. His systems and ideas are proven to work – especially in those awkward salon moments (you know the ones… let’s call them “tricky” clients).
In 2023 Dario is determined to help you lift YOUR game on client inspiration and consultation. As of February 2023, he will be hitting the road to bring you an all NEW approach to consultation skills and salon staff/client/guest interaction.
Dario will teach staff how to ensure clients/guests receive the best in salon experience while providing salon owners and salon teams with tips on how to effectively engage a client in consultation (and inspire them in the process!). He will also help build upon existing conversational skills, and provide amazing advice and insight on dealing with difficult clients.

The Elevate Program for hairdressers is designed to take aspiring hairdressers on a personalised journey of learning like no other. Over the 10 modules, you will gain confidence learning 10 classic minimal timeless haircuts. Progressing from long to shorter lengths, the core techniques of classic minimal precision cutting will be perfected with our care and guidance. You will also learn our unique approach to client consultations to ensure your work is supported when you go back to the salon. Our courses are known to help and guide you through every step of the way.
Our unique approach ensures that the face shape & bone structure are understood before you consider a sustainable haircut for each client.
DCI Education’s founder Dario Cotroneo will lead a small group through regular workshops covering cutting, styling and consultation. By developing consistency in work, modules are designed to provide hairdressers with a new confident path to build and retain clientele.
