Forget letting your hair down, the Met Gala is where celebrities make their hair interesting. Think all the hair and beauty intrigue of every other major A-list event combined times ten. The 2021 Met Gala, with the theme ‘In America: A Lexicon of Fashion’ didn’t disappoint, with so many worthwhile looks we didn’t know where to look next.
Here’s a highlights reel of some stellar, strange, transformative and bold looks that caught our eye on the feed.
1. Gigi Hadid
Gigi or Jessica Rabbit? We were loving Gigi Hadid in this fiery red.
2. Kristen Stewart
In her storied hair history, we’re partial to KStew blonde, and this cute high ponytail with a coiffed fringe made us feel like we were sipping milkshakes in the 50s.

Texture, shape and detail were all on point in Zoë’s glam braids.
4. Grimes
