Pandora partnered with the 2024 iteration of Australian Fashion Week and finished the festivities with the closing show on Friday night, presented to the week’s largest singular front row of 640 guests. Redken and Richard Kavanagh styled an elegant look for the occasion.
“The hair brief for the Pandora closing show at Australian Fashion Week was effortless elegance, pulled out of the way so that we can see the jewellery,” Richard shared. “I wanted the hair to feel like it was freshly cleansed and in a luxe condition.”
The team used the brand’s Root Lifter to prep the hair, then the Stay High 18 High-Hold Gel To Mousse product to give the hair some grip and texture without any visible product residue. Then, hair was blow dried with a round brush, styled with a centre part, pulled back loosely into a chignon at the nape and finished with Redken’s Brushable Hairspray.
Bringing the whole substantial audience to the front row and broadcasting the show through a multi-camera live feed, also aired onto the runway backdrop, ensured unprecedented inclusivity for the fashion event. The runway show featured over 52 looks from Australian designers, as paired with Pandora Moments Fully Loaded looks, Pandora Lab-Grown Diamonds and the new PANDORA ESSENCE collection.
