American Crew has announced the global finalists in their annual American Crew All Star competition, an international contest that aims to find the very best in men’s grooming. The competition combines expertise in art, style and technique to deliver strong editorial interpretations of the iconic American Crew aesthetic, and the international champion will be crowned in Spain next month.
“The All-Star Challenge brings together the next generation of stylists and groomers who are shaping literally and figuratively the future of style,” said David Raccuglia, founder of American Crew. “They are a digitally native group that connects not only with clients behind the chair, but in this new global forum we live in. Their accessibility to trends and cultures contributes to the exciting visions they bring to the competition this June in Barcelona.”
15 finalists were chosen from thousands of applicants, winning their national categories and then being included in this prestigious international team. The list includes our own Kelvin Wong from Australia, as well as Hassan Nasser, Canada, Brit Lauresen, Denmark, Daniel Arturo Quiñones Elías, Mexico, Mariano Schiano, Italy, Vitaliy Pimenov, Russia, Mehmet Ali Denel, Turkey, Viggo Von Scheliha, South Africa and Bohdan Vasylevsky, Ukraine. In addition there are other finalists from Germany, Switzerland, USA, France and Peru.
The judging panel, comprised of the American Crew All Stars global team, now has a difficult task in deciding the final global winner for 2018.
Good luck to the finalists and particularly our Aussie champion!
