A passion for education and men’s grooming shapes the new campaign from men’s hair empire American Crew – meet THE CREW STYLEMAKERS, a campaign of inspiration and education that elevates barbers and stylists to industry leaders.

The campaign empowers professionals to mould their craft and their powers in both physical and emotional transformation. It speaks to the significance to the collaboration between the professional and the client in giving confidence to men with stellar styling.
More specifically, the campaign presents a compilation of grooming techniques and a collection of cuts and styles to inspire and educate barbers. David Raccuglia shot a short-form campaign video in Los Angeles, a market that is seeing a resurgence of creativity in men’s grooming, showing off a broad scope of trending styles and the spirit of barbering and men’s style that inhabits the whole LA community.
THE CREW STYLEMAKERS harnesses the brand’s many years of experience as an acclaimed platform for men’s hair, building on classic and necessary techniques from the Master of Men’s Grooming education sphere from American Crew, with an extremely modern approach to texture, product and wearable shapes. This content is showcased by representatives for the brand including Global Artistic Creative Director Paul Wilson, Global Education Manager Phoenix Thompson and one of the 2019 American Crew All-Star Challenge Winners, Emma Jankowski, who create the looks with artistry and talent.
Looks in the campaign portfolio include The University Cut, a go-to style with versatility and movement as achieved with the brand’s Boost Powder and Matte Clay, and The Taper, for high-texture hair types, that professionally and seamlessly blends textures, gives the look of moisture and shine and boasts a classic neck line, thanks to American Crew Pomade. The Crop is another hero look, offering edgy, sophisticated shapes, with a rounded finish and strong texture, as well as thickness and weightless lift as built by the brand’s Forming Cream and Tech Series Boost Spray, respectively.
