Colour Trophy 2019 Announce Line-Up

We are less than one month away from the L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy finale for 2019, with the major national event to congregate all 15 finalists and 5 rising star nominees in Melbourne on February 25 to crown the winners. These talented nominees will battle for the grand titles at the live event at Crown Melbourne, after an exhaustive national search of semi-final competitions and a long and worthwhile road to this point.

Now that the event is so close we can practically picture it, the brand has released some important information about the must-attend extravaganza. The marathon day will begin with all finalists recreating their editorial look for a live judging panel. Finalists will be assessed on their technical mastery, exposition of trends and wearability factor. The prizes amount to a combined total of over $340,000 with international trips, editorial exposure and more on the cards.

The evening itself will be an unmissable show, as hosted by comedian Tommy Little, and featuring entertaining performances. A highlight will come in the form of a hair collection performance from famous international Hair Artist, Sophia Hilton. Sophia is renowned as a colour queen in London, with major international credits, such as Vogue, and vast education experience to her name. The show will demonstrate these talents in a session that will push all creative boundaries.

Other items on the agenda will be a fiery performance from Matador, who fuse burlesque, dance and circus acts by their colourful cast of 14 performer. From emotive to fun and playful, these acts run the gamut, with storylines, moves and routines to amaze the audience. There will also be a performance by beloved Aussie band from the 90s and naughties, Bachelor Girl, known for their hit single Buses and Trains and decades of cult fandom.
