To showcase the much-anticipated launch of ghd’s Grand-Luxe limited-edition collection, ghd created their first Australian pop-up styling bar to offer consumers the chance to receive a complimentary hair styling session and experience the tools for themselves in Melbourne and Sydney.
“We are very excited to bring our first ghd pop-up styling bar to Australia to celebrate the launch of the Limited Edition Grand-Luxe collection with our customers so they can be some of the first to revel in the tools,” shared Ludovic Dellazzeri, Managing Director at ghd Australia and New Zealand, before the event.
This consumer activation took place in Melbourne at the start of November for anyone looking to go luxe with their hair game at its first Australian pop-up styling bar in Chadstone Shopping Centre, Melbourne. The activation continued on to Bondi Junction Westfield, Sydney until the 27th of November with the hustle and bustle of holiday shoppers popping in for a luxurious style session.
Consumers received a complimentary 40-minute dry hair styling appointment and were able to choose one of three luxurious looks between Hollywood Luxe, Sleek and Straight or Beachy Waves.
Customers could book in their free hair styling appointment and enter for a chance to win exclusive giveaways, meet some of their favourite brand ambassadors and creators, and take advantage of the ghd photo booth to add a pop of glitter to their ‘gram.
The pop-up styling bar was also the perfect place for customers to get hands on with the ghd tools and see the limited edition Grand-Luxe collection in person.
“Dripping in champagne gold and adorned with red accessories, the Grand-Luxe collection is the perfect gift for those doing their Christmas shopping, and we’re so excited to bring it to life to consumers this Christmas,” Ludovic said.
