Hair Expo is just days away to take over your Queen’s Birthday long weekend in Sydney and their stage education program speaks to the collaboration, artistry and education that act as pillars of the event. Among other major highlights including industry events and awards, in-room education by top-tier artists and business coaches and major brand innovations on the expo floor, the three day event will have wall to wall education on stage. Simply by gaining access to the expo floor, there will be a myriad of stages and educators for you to appreciate inside the expo walls.
The weekend boasts 37 sessions across the Main Stage, Men’s Stage and Styling Stage which are free for all Hair Expo visitors to attend. Topics in this diverse group will cover men’s hair, precision cutting, colour, runway looks, trends and so much more.
Some of the many highlights on the Main Stage will include the ‘Global Hair Trends’ session led by world renowned industry icons Robert Cromeans and Angus Mitchell, which will delve into international colour and style. Internet sensation Guy Tang will also teach bold colour on stage with his #Mydentity crew, while a host of other local hairdressing talents will showcase their specialty skills.
The Men’s Stage will host impressive barbers such as Liam O’Hara, Jason MacPhee, Temoc Nunez and Evan Thomas, as well as the King’s Domain barbers to showcase their cutting philosophy and bold techniques. The Kings Domain crew will teach ‘Sectioning vs. Visual’ and ‘Square vs. Round’ sessions over the Sunday and Monday of Hair Expo.
The Styling Stage is sponsored by Hot Tools Professional, who will showcase sessions such as ‘Stylist Preferred’, ‘24K Magic’ and ‘Masters at Work’, while Hair Expo Awards’ 2019 NSW-ACT Hairdresser of the year finalist, Paula Hibbard, in collaboration with Gold Fever Hair Extensions, will present runway and bridal looks. The stage will continue throughout the focus with a specific focus on style.
Right around these stages, the expo floor will offer the latest launches to ignite your imagination. Your usual favourite brands plus some unique new finds such as Blackpants Workwear, Piiq Digital, Just Brushes, Sach Hair Extensions, Salon and Beauty branding, Khairpep and Hattori Hanzo Shears will be there to engage with and inspire the industry.
