Drumroll please… Hair Festival 2021, to be hosted over the June long weekend next year, is hurtling ever closer, and the first speakers in the inspiring Real Talk education platform have been revealed, as well as the insightful topics they’ll be teaching.
Hair Festival 2021 will be taking place at iconic Sydney venue Carriageworks, with a marketplace, education platform and networking events that allow hairdressers to shop, learn, compete and connect, rallying the salon community and giving us something we all need to look forward to after a challenging year.
The Real Talk education platform will return from its landmark inaugural event in 2019, offering a program that, as always, creates conversations that matter in the industry and facilitates true community connection. Powerful, ambitious hairdressers, salon owners, brand representatives and business people are searching for a deeper level of success and connection in a crowded world, and Real Talk has been customised to elevate the experience for every business.
“Testament to the industry’s need to get together no matter the salon level or cause, Real Talk breaks down barriers and cultivates ego free conversations that matter,” said INSTYLE editor, Cameron Pine.
Now, the first speakers and sessions within this platform have been named. Real Talk 2019 MC and speaker Terry Hawkins will lead a session titled ‘Ignite Your Stars Within’. This will showcase the six essentials to creating an inspired and productive team by looking at both yourself and your team.
Renowned educator Phill Nosworthy will deliver ‘Full Stack Resilience’, a moving session that will teach us to become anti-fragile in business and in life. In this session, Phill will discover new levels of emotional resilience and intelligence for a more successful life.
James Fitzgerald, another speaker from Real Talk 2019 and social media expert, will present ‘Social Media Marketing Beyond Vanity’, where he will share his insights on how to use social media to truly affect business over tangible benefit to salons.
