The salon industry continues to rally around the cause of breast cancer awareness and research, with Joico spearheading initiatives through October that make up their pink campaign. Building on their history with the cause, the brand partners again with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) during October to raise funds for life changing breast cancer research.
In this initiative, for every tube of Joico Color Intensity Pink Shades in Rose Gold, Blush, Rose, Hot Kiss, Soft Pink, Hot Pink and Pink, ordered through September and October by professional hair salons, Joico will proudly donate $1 to NBCF.
“We are so honoured to be partnering with NBCF for the month of October. We hope that people can show their support and help NBCF reach their target of Zero Deaths by 2030,” said Joico spokesperson, Kylie McLeod.
Joico has also partnered with Foil Me, donating products to their #LoveLivesHere Pink Pack, which encourage donations to the cause.
Contributing further to the initiative, Joico will be supporting salons and their clients through a range of in-salon initiatives to encourage engagement and donations, such as inspiring hair salons to transform their salons into fully pink spaces through the month of October and sharing these salon looks with the tags @joicoaustralianz and #ZEROBY2030 for crucial exposure to the initiative.
The initiative helps fight against stats that see one in seven women diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. 55 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer every day and, without further research, over 30,000 lives will be lost to breast cancer by 2030. Joico’s partnership with the NBCF helps an organisation that is100 per cent community funded and imperative to saving these lives.
Support these incredible causes this October by making your hair and space that much pinker.
