To strengthen the sense of community in the industry and celebrate the business acumen among the L’Oréal PPD suite of brands, this year’s PRO.CONNECT Business Forum in Brisbane is combining global inspiration and entrepreneurship with daily doses of best practice, industry data, resources and more, writes Cameron Pine.
L’Oréal Access is an educational hub that’s home to all L’Oréal brand education and content – bolstered by an annual gathering that leaves a lasting impression on the salon environment and the entire salon team. This year’s PRO.CONNECT forum over May 4, 5 and 6 is the largest to date and expects over 400 people to come together in Australia’s fastest growing city.
While tickets are limited, there’s still time to secure your spot and see just how, with becoming a PRO.CONNECT member, your business can too be globally recognised among the industry and by consumers.

This year celebrates the business of glossing. With so many gloss products launching across the L’Oréal PPD portfolio, the parties, the theming, the inspiration and, most importantly, the content are all channelling gloss for 2025. With industry trends and insights, better business strategies from people who have lived it, leadership, collaboration and innovation, PRO.CONNECT is all about celebrating the community of hair.
The line-up includes multi-entrepreneur and founder of P.E Nation, Pip Edwards, and Sophia Hilton, founder of Not Another Salon, who is back by popular demand with new content and tips we haven’t seen before. Professional big wave surfer and author Mark Visser will share an incredible story of resilience and tenacity while Jason Everett will set out to change the way we view ourselves for the better. With these leading speakers intermixed among your favourite salon audience and peers, PRO.CONNECT again proves why content is king. Add in that priceless time to share a drink or a photo opportunity with the salon community from around the country at an iconic destination and you’ll see why the 2025 program has been a year in the making.

“At L’Oréal, we believe in sustained support. The Business Forum ignites the spark, but PRO.CONNECT fuels the flame. Our year-long business education program reinforces the forum’s key learnings, empowers salon owners with the tools and connections to achieve real, lasting success,” said L’Oréal Business Education Manager, Jordan Kidner. “For us, it’s about our salon partners growth, their community, and our opportunity to invest in them, their business, and the future of the industry.”
Globally known speaker, content and hairdressing education king and salon owner, Ultra Fade Rich, will unlock a premier social media experience and show how he’s amassed more than 6.7 million TikTok likes. Then, a business excellence panel featuring other salon owners, ambassadors and guests will ensure PRO.CONNECT is spearheaded by invaluable conversations.
L’Oréal understands the value of trends and data, so expect trend forecasting prowess through the event. To show their continued investment into professionals, L’Oréal Business Education Managers will examine key consumer insights, particularly focusing on the growing interest in scalp health, concerns around hair damage, the consistent pursuit of glossy, glass-like hair and the evolving landscape of hair treatments. The brand will also deliver actionable strategies on using this know-how.
Adding a touch of luxury to the PRO.CONNECT experience, the Brisbane’s Star is a brand-new world-class casino and hotel experience. Queen’s Wharf Sky Deck has levelled up Brisbane’s sky -high eateries and bars 100 metres above the city. Juxtaposed by a wellness morning and all the tools we need to show up personally and professionally, PRO.CONNECT 2025 is L’Oréal’s ultimate investment in you.
