The award-winning line-up of Moroccanoil artists will take to Hair Festival 2025 to create a unique live photoshoot at the event. On Sunday, June 29, at The ICC, Sydney, Australian and New Zealand hair legends Richi Grisillo, Chinney Yeap, Michael Beel and Jordan Hone will bring their editorial vision to life live at Hair Festival.
Richi is the current AHFA Australian Hairdresser of the Year, with celebrity clients including Eva Mendes, G-Flip, Chrishell Stause, Tyra Banks, Gemma Ward, Chloe Morello, Martha Kalifatidis, Melissa Doyle, and Vera Blue and credits across Grazia, Vogue, Elle, GQ Australia, InStyle, Harper’s Bazaar and more. He’s also the Moroccanoil Global Ambassador, the founder of Acadèmie Salon, has worked on brand campaigns and editorials for Moroccanoil, SIR The Label, Wella Professional and CHANEL and has styled shows for Vivienne Westwood, Zimmermann, Sass + Bide and Toni Maticevski at New York, Paris, London, and Australia Fashion Weeks.
Chinney is the current, back-to-back AHFA New Zealand Hairdresser of the Year, with other awards including New Zealand Colourist of the Year, Wella Trend Vision International bronze and more. Chinney is an NZ Moroccanoil artist and mentor who has previously worked with Schwarzkopf ANZ, L’Oréal and Joico and currently guides the Industry Creative Team of six young New Zealand talents. A-list clients like Julia Garner, fashion week showings and editorial credits define her 20-year career.
Michael is a four-time New Zealand Hairdresser of the Year and the current AHFA Editorial Stylist of the Year, with 30 years of experience in celebrity, runway and editorial hair. Michael is the Creative Director of Salute Hair Skin Spa in Wellington, New Zealand, where his client list includes such names as Sigourney Weaver, Cobrah, Scarlett Johansson, Taika Waititi and Rita Ora. He’s also an inspiring, approachable educator, who teaches and entertains simultaneously.
Rounding out this award-winning group, Jordan is the 2021 AHFA NSW/ACT Hairdresser of the Year, renowned for his editorial and fashion work. As a 2015 FAME Team alumni, International Hairstylist of the Year finalist at the 2023 Contessa Awards and multi-time AHFA Creative Colourist of the Year nominee, Jordan has made his mark on the mantle. Jordan has further served as Hair Director for Kookai and styled fashion shows including Christopher Esber’s debut at Paris Fashion Week in 2023 and other global fashion events. Campaigns and editorials for CHANEL, Bowie Wong, Laud, INSTYLE and L’Oréal Professionnel, as well as TV work with The X Factor and styling VIP guests on the ASTRAs, ARIAs and AACTA Awards red carpets make for a compelling career. Jordan has created looks for Dannii Minogue, Jennifer Hawkins, Olympia Valance, and Natalie Imbruglia and is a trusted beauty media voice and a regular BeautyCrew contributor.
