Internationally lauded Australian hair artist Jacky Chan from Oscar Oscar Salon Chadstone was recently nominated for the title of Australian Hairdresser of the Year at the Australian Hair Industry Awards (Creative) for 2022. Recognised for the Inyo collection, the group of images are a clash of artistic beauty, hair and pure innovation, showcasing just why Jacky is a pioneer in the editorial hair space.
With Jacky at the helm, the collection was also created by photographer Andrew O’Toole, makeup artists Janice Wu, stylist Anthony Capon and featured colour work by Hayley Warner.
With glitter, colour and creative makeup, the collection stretches the boundaries of hair as a construct, veers into the Avant Garde and inspires with bold choices and skilled techniques. The hero images play with shape and dimension, cuts, length and layering and more, creating a memorable collection to be inspired by.
