Hair Expo is now under a month away, and as the event nears we’re looking forward to more and more education sessions, brands, events and shows in store for the long weekend. A highlight will be the Main Stage agenda, with a host of hairdressing superstars in line to present all weekend long.
The Main Stage offers free education for all Expo ticketholders, showcasing a broad selection of industry experts, celebrity hairdressers, leading colourists, men’s hair specialists, rising talent and more.
Highlights on the agenda include Hollywood colourist Tracey Cunningham, known for colouring the tresses of Drew Barrymore, Margot Robbie, Mariah Carey, Lana Del Rey and Emma Stone, and achieving success through her work as an Olaplex ambassador. She’ll share these insights with a no-doubt packed out audience during her Main Stage show.
The inimitable and effervescent Guy Tang will also be back for a stage show based on creative colouring. Guy will be presenting his #mydentity colour brand, including his new Naked collection, and will show on stage why his viral education videos are so sought after by the online masses.
The Balay Lama, otherwise known as Candy Shaw, will also be presenting on stage, as well as in the Hair Expo classrooms. Renowned as a leading educator in the USA and an expert in balayage and French cutting, Candy’s unique expertise will prove vital to eager audience members.
Other presenters in the stellar line-up include Sharon Blain, Janelle Chaplin (creative director, O&M), MENSPIRE UK, Joey Scandizzo, Peter Thomsen, Lorna Evans, Jason Fassbender, the 2018 UK FAME Team, Kobi Bokshish, Uros Mikic and the Kinky Curly Straight team, Caterina Di Biase, and the 2018 Australian FAME Team.
Beyond the Main Stage, there will be a dedicated Men’s Stage busy with barbers and men’s hair experts showing their skills. And a brand new Styling Stage, sponsored by Dyson. Both stages will also provide free education for any and all ticketholders.
